💡 What Is EVV?

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is a federally required system under Section 12006 of the 21st Century Cures Act. It verifies that Medicaid Services, such as in-home visits, community-based service visits, and home health services, are provided as scheduled.

EVV systems like Pavillio track six core elements:

  • ✅ Type of service provided

  • ✅ Date of service

  • ✅ Location of service delivery

  • ✅ Client identity

  • ✅ Caregiver identity

  • ✅ Time service begins and ends

🧾 Why Caregivers Must Use EVV

EVV ensures:

  • ✅ Accurate visit verification

  • ✅ Transparent and accountable service delivery

  • ✅ Protection of sensitive information

  • ✅ Smooth and timely EVV claims

  • ✅ Compliance with federal law and provider agency standards

📱 How to Use EVV with Pavillio

Rainbow Home Healthcare uses Pavillio as our official EVV software solution. It is a caregiver-friendly, HIPAA-compliant platform that allows you to easily record and submit your visit data.

  2. Clock in when your visit begins

  3. Select the type of service you're providing
